Our eye mask is meant to be used for a long time, and if you take good care of it by cleaning after use, it can be used over 100-150 times if not more. We will also in the near future start selling the mask separately so that you don't have to buy a new box if you need to replace your mask.
If there comes a day when you want to throw away the eye mask and the box or any of them, below is a guide for you.
Step 1: Separate the eye mask and the aluminum box. This makes it possible to recycle each material separately, as they have different recycling processes.
Step 2: Islandthe gona mask in silicone is a recyclable material, but it may require specialized recycling facilities. Check for local recycling centers that accept silicone products. Contact your local waste disposal or recycling facility for guidance or find information online on how to properly recycle silicone near you.
Step 3: Recycling the aluminum cans which is one of the most recyclable materials and it is accepted at many recycling centers. Follow these steps to recycle the aluminum box:
-
Clean the aluminum ash: Rinse off any residue from the ash.
-
Recycle the aluminum can: Take the prepared aluminum can to the designated recycling center or place it in your recycling bin according to your local recycling guidelines.
